Men of My Dreams Scrapbook Page

The grandbaby has given me my much needed push into scrapbooking. I am even trying my hand at digital scrapbooking. This is a picture I did for the little mommy for Christmas. I had it framed for her. The blending could have been better but overall I like it.

Thanks for looking. Traci

Merry Christmas Blog Hop!

Merry Christmas!

I am participating in my very first blog hog. My new friends on the scrapbooking message board were kind enough to let me join in. I hope I do this right.
I am so excited. I can't wait to see what wonderful Christmas ideas these very talented ladies share.
My Christmas craft is this simple stamped ornament. I have been making these very simple ornaments the last several years. They are always a big hit. Each year I change the stamp I use.

Trust me you have to give these puppies a try. They are so economical and easy.... A another bonus, you don't have a huge supply list.

Supplies: Stazon Ink and cleaner, ceramic ornament, holiday stamp, and scrap ribbon.

Directions: Stamp image on ceramic ornament. Let dry and string with ribbon.

Tip: Be careful when stamping the image. The ceramic ornament is a very slick surface and can smudge easily if you twist or move the stamp slightly when stamping. Also, let the ornament dry overnight before stringing with ribbon.

Shopping Guide: I buy the ornaments early in the year at Michael's for around $1.25. If I wait to long they tend to sell out quick.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Please be sure to leave a comment. As a special thank you one randomly selected person will recieve one OF these hand stamped ornaments.

So, up, up and away off to the next Christmas blog stop http://allsmilesandsunshine.blogspot.com/. No worries if you get lost just just head back to the first post (Amanda's) http://www.lovejoypaper.com/.

Merry Christmas! Traci

Joy Card

Look at the card I created..... with the help of shutterfly. I took the grandbaby's picture. I could not be more pleased with this card. I ordered several for the kids to give out as an early Christmas gift. Not my typical card but I couldn't resist to try it. Thanks for looking. Traci

Fall Card

My first fall card of the season.

Bye-Bye Daddy's Khaki shorts.... Hello baby diaper bag!

I turned my son's old khaki shorts into a shoulder diaper bag for the baby. The khaki shorts had awesome pockets I used on the outside and I added tons of pockets to the inside. I like this so much I might have to make me one. Wouldn't it be cute with red polka dot lining fabric?

Hooter's are Over-rated!

A dear friend was having a double mastectomy. I made her this card the day before. It made her laugh. The inside says "Hooter's are over-rated!"

Waiting for the baby!

At the hospital waiting for my first grandson. Why do babies take so long?

The little momma is doing well. My son looks like he is in shock. DH had the Dad talk with him. It was so cute to watch from a distant. I haven't had alot of computer time so I thought catching up on my blog hopping would keep me busy.

We are all taking turns cycling through the labor room.

Woohoo! My next post should contain baby pics.

Have a great day!

Zucchini Brownies

My garden is starting to produce yummy items for consumption. I thought I would try out the brownie recipe I found on allrecipes.com. The frosting was simple and quick. The brownies are good but I think I would prefer to use my large zucchini in zucchini bread.

Here is the recipe if you are interested. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Zucchini-Brownies/Detail.aspx

I am here....really I am.....

Have you missed me? I have been busy with work and lots of personal stuff. Finally, I can get a break and post. No more crazy work schedule. I have been creating a few things. Like baby shower invites and thank you cards..... because I am going to be a Grandma. Woohooo!

My son and his significant girl are expecting a baby boy. Scooter (I nicknamed him...better then the baby.) should arrive the beginning of August. He is going to be my first grandchild. :-)

I'll be posting some fun sewing projects in the next couple weeks.... lots of cute baby stuff.

Please check back.... I am an active blogger again.

Happy Crafting, Traci

Sorry For Not Posting

Things have been crazy since the first of the year.

Just before my brother passed away in the fall of 2008 my mom took ill. Well, she just never really recovered. She passed away at the end of January.

I have missed you all greatly and hope to be posting some projects within the next couple of weeks.

Take care,

Traci
