Stamped Paper Card

I am really happy with this card because I stamped the paper also. I stamped the flourish in brown ink on the turquoise paper. Stamped the polka dot with versa mark on the brown paper. I ran the turquoise strip throw the polka dot cuttlebug embossing folder. The big flower was actually a solid flower I stamped the polka dots on the stamp before I stamped on the paper. Not sure what that technique is called. I ran the flower through the cuttlebug and put the I love you sentiment in the middle. TLF-Traci

Cocktails Anyone?

Is it happy hour....?

This is one of the G Studios $1.00 stamps. I have bought a ton of them but hardly ever use them. I need to change that. TLF - Traci

Scrap Card

Last of these scraps.

Bun in the Oven Card

This card is made from scraps of DP paper. It reminds me of a vintage kitchen which I knew would be perfect for a pregnancy congratulations card. A lady I work with just found out she was pregnant so it will be perfect.

Hugs and Kisses Card

I absolutely love how this card turned out. This paper is great. I used two different papers but the back is another design. How cool is that? I love the colors used in this paper...... the only thing I might have done different would be the blue snaps but I am not sure what I would use instead.

Hugs and Kisses Card

I am in the need of Valentine's cards but the challenge is I want to use supplies I have on hand. I know this is not the typical red, pink, heart valentine card but I think it might work.

The paper is from SEI, the ribbon is a scrap, the hugs and kisses stamp is from Papertrey Ink. I made the scallops with my small circle punch. For the XOX I used the Red Tag Letters from cuttlebug.

Well, I think that covers it. TFL - Traci

Love You Card

Working on some possible Valentine's cards. I have made a birthday card similar to this style before. I really like the doodling.

This card was inspired by a card I got in a swap made by D. Pfeifle.

Card

I thought I might try making a Valentine card. This one doesn't have the traditional look of a Valentine card but I think it might work. I really like the doodling.
Thanks for looking - Traci

Resolutions: Health

Well, I am getting back on track with my weight loss. I only gained 4 pounds over the last 6-8 weeks. Although I have not been following a diet a have been trying not to overdue to much. So, I can handle a four pound gain.

I started back eating healthy on Monday and I have already lost 2 pounds. I know it is probably water weight. But the first week back went OK.

I spent today planning meals for the week and going to the store. Tomorrow I will prepare a pot of soup, snacks and lunches for the week. I find this helps me stay on track.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Take care - Traci

Happy New Year!!!!

There is something about the new year that provides a fresh beginning. The year 2008 was a tough year for my family. We watched my brother suffer with cancer losing him just before Thanksgiving. He was the 38 years old. I don't believe I'll ever get over missing him but I am eager to start the new year.

I am going to strive for a healthy and happy year. I want to spend more time with my family. As we all grow older and busier I miss some of the simple times we have had. I yearn for more time with my husband. Although, I am thankful he has a good job I hope he has less travels in the upcoming year.

I hope to finish organizing my craft space. I can't wait to lose myself in creating something.

I know next year will be great. I know it. I wish you all the best and hope you stop by frequently in 2009.

Happy New Year!!!
