Thank you cards for my neighbors

My brother passed away the end of November after a long battle with cancer. He had lived with us the last year of his life. Our neighbors gave us a beautiful plant and took turns taking care of our dogs while we had to go out of town to the funeral.

I am way late on the thank you cards. But, here is what I made today. These are the first cards I have made in what seems like forever. I hope they like them.

Weight Update

Wow... where has the time gone? There has been lots going on lately in my life. I hope to grab a hold and get everything back on track. My weight loss has been constant. It actually has been nice having something I can control. I have lost a total of 40 pounds.... I can't believe it.

Curly or straight?

This is a two in one post.... one because I HAVE LOST 30 POUNDS!!!! YEAH!!!

The second is I wanted to show my new dooooo.... Whatcha think?

My hair is naturally curly but when I get it cut/colored I have my hair dresser straighten.... because I don't want to take the time. I highlighted my hair at the beginning of the summer and kept it this time.

Football - I love football.

I am so excited for fall. High school football had their first games of the year last night. My DS coached in his first varsity game. He is a junior in college but got an assistant coaching job (offensive and defensive line). He played one year college ball and coached at the middle school the last two years. I am so excited for him to get the opportunity to coach varsity while still in college.

Of course, DH and I drive an hour and a half to watch DS coach. Well worth it. Here is a pic of the coach in action.

Oh, yes for those of you that don't know... I love football... high school, college and pro. I love it all.

Cards from Scraps
